The Telegraph’s Best Woodland Wedding Venue

We’ve been chosen as the best woodland wedding venue by The Telegraph for their complete guide on how to plan a rustic wedding.

As the article explains, ‘Location is everything when it comes to planning a wedding – especially one with a nature theme.’

The Woodlands was chosen thanks to our gorgeous, licensed outdoor ceremony area, indoor area and accommodation, including The Treehouse.

The guide goes on to explain how couples can, ‘Take vows under The Hideaway, a licensed pergola-type structure in rural Leicestershire,’ while, ‘Up to 60 guests can witness the ceremony, sitting on benches made from fallen trees, and 150 guests can attend the reception’.

It also highlights that, ‘Evening celebrations take place indoors (although there can be games on the lawns), so guests won’t catch a chill’, and, ‘Accommodation is also available – including a treehouse suite for the newlyweds.’
