Restaurant & Bar Team Members
Job requirements:
- Prioritise guests and strive to deliver 100% guest satisfaction
- Be responsible for setting up and opening the bar and dining areas as required
- Serve across the bar and dining areas as required
- Attend regular team training sessions including, bar skills, cash handling, food safety, customer service, COSSH,
- Communicate effectively within own team and other departments
- Follow cleaning schedules to a high standard • Follow COSHH guidelines when using chemicals
- Be aware and have an understanding of allergens and other dietary requirements
- Handle cash correctly to reduce the risk of error • Able to operate PDQ machines and till system
- Be able to close bar and dining areas following closing checklists to ensure everything is ready and in place for the next service
- Able to recommend and up sell a wide selection of bar drinks
Person Specification:
- Demonstrate a positive, caring and discreet customer and staff relationships
- Able to prioritise and use own initiative
- Enjoy the buzz of working in a fast-paced environment
- Be proactive and promote a positive atmosphere
- An experience and understanding of dining and bars desirable
- Enjoy working within a team and be a team player
- Able to problem solve
- Happy to work alone on occasion
- The desire to want to develop and be the best they can be
- Take pride in their appearance, be well groomed and have a high level of personal hygiene
Experience is preferred but we will provide full training.
